Contessa were proud to assist in creating a space that our older people can call home. We worked with the team at Gilmore Interior Design, manufacturing a concept decorative pendant we now call the bespoke Astris pendant for the lounge seating and dining areas of the Scalabrini aged care village.
The concept included six separate scuttle shaped custom shades attached to a main halo ring. Each shade was lined inside and out with a unique European sourced material.
The village was awarded Best Aged Care Facility, Australian Healthcare Week Excellence Awards 2018.
