Contessa collaborated with a healthcare design firm in Sydney to create the Acoustic Turbine Pendant. This innovative design integrates acoustic properties with LED pendant lighting. Unlike the Acoustic Nimbus, the Turbine Pendant doesn't obstruct natural light, thanks to its inspired aircraft jet engine design.
Featuring inner-facing illumination and integrated acoustic fins, the Acoustic Turbine efficiently serves the dual purpose of providing ambient lighting and effective sound absorption. The pendants in this project showcase gold-finished metalware, complementing the space's gold tones.
Contessa's acoustic LED pendants, including the Turbine series, are ideal for spaces prioritizing both acoustic performance and aesthetics. The use of sound-absorbing materials ensures a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) ranging from 0.45 to 0.75, depending on the chosen pendant.
